PhotoJobz is advertised as a network that’ll help you sell your pictures. Digging deeper, it’s actually a site that promotes various tutorials and training on how to sell your photos online – not a direct platform where you post your material and earn some commissions in return.
What Is Photojobz?
Photojobz is part of the Clickbank network which offers to help you make money off your images.
At first glance, you will immediately think it is a stock photography site where you earn each time someone downloads your pictures. It promises to help you sell your images through their connections.
The first thing you see on the site’s lobby is something similar to the usual stock photography platforms, which is in some way already misleading. Everything on the front page will make you think you are there to sell your images.
But the truth is, it’s far from that.
It’s actually an e-hub for video, text, and PDF tutorials that will guide you on how to “sell” your pictures through different stock sites. And honestly, if you just know where to look, you’ll find these resources for free all over the Web.
Plus, the videos only roughly run about 1-2 minutes on average. This is something that a proper e-learning site (if this is what they’re really going for) would offer. They could do so much more.
How Does PhotoJobz Work?
This is where it all gets a bit shady.
Remember I mentioned this is advertised as something similar to a stock photography site? Well, as you would see in the lobby, they describe how the platform works – take photos, upload, and earn.
When you get to the bottom of the page, you’ll see a “Join Now” button. Once you click that, you’ll be redirected to another page where you need to create an account. At this point, everything seems normal.
After the signup process, you’ll now see what they initially offer, a $1 premium membership fee. At first, you’ll think it’s such a sweet deal, but wait until you see the rest of the offer.
Once you have successfully purchased the premium membership, you’ll see several lessons including “Sell Your Photos Guides” which to me are nothing more than a bunch of collated tips on how to earn from legit stock photography sites.
You’d think that if you pay for premium access, you will also gain a free pass to stock sites, but this isn’t the case. You’ll still need to pay up on the official site for the membership.
To me, that doesn’t sound convincing.
Premium Membership: Cost, Pros & Cons
If you think you’ll only be spending $1 on this platform, you thought wrong. That’s only the fee for a 5-day trial. After that, you’ll be charged $27 per month.
Well, if you think about it, the $1 is worth all the information you can get for the first 5 days. But the monthly billing of $27? I’d rather you spend it on another more useful online course instead.
In fairness to this site, you can still find a few good things about it. Though it’s not what you think it is, they have some useful information, especially for beginners.
Let’s dive deeper into the pros and cons of this platform.
Reasons to Like:
Low-cost trial fee
When you see the $1 membership fee, you somehow feel a bit at ease to test the waters. I mean, the investment isn’t that much, compared to other e-learning platforms.
But why pay $1 for a trial when you can test drive my #1 recommended platform 100% cost and risk-free?
And while most people, especially beginners, might feel desperate to gain info on what to do, they might think that since the 5-day premium access is affordable, why not take advantage of it then.
I’ve reviewed a LOT of products over the last few years and I always have an eye for good and questionable products. Photojobz is more on the questionable side for me.
Money-back guarantee
Probably the best thing about this site, which we should really give it credit for, is the money-back guarantee. I mean, with your $27 monthly fee, you can already gain access to other online photography courses elsewhere.
So if you think you can’t get the best out of the monthly recurring fee, then you have 60 days to request a refund.
At least they say you can.
For example, the Shaw Academy is bordering on scam because they make it impossible to cancel their account. To me, either site didn’t look very trustworthy, so I’d rather recommend something else I’m more comfortable recommending.
Although, based on another reviewer’s experience, he was able to cancel his Photojobz account just fine. But we both agree that the website/info is just not worth more than $1.
Reasons to Avoid:
The $1 fee is suspicious
If you’re inexperienced to the online marketing world, then you might think that’s totally normal. And in most cases is. But in the past, I’ve reviewed some programs that were sketchy.
I even got sucked into a scam that ALSO offered a $1 trial. By some luck, I never ended up joining and paying thousands of dollars.
And guess what? A couple years later, that website was cracked down by the FTC. Of course, this might be a biased opinion, but I don’t feel comfortable recommending it to you, folks.
It’s not a stock site
I hate to break it to you, but this is not really the stock photography platform you are expecting it to be. Rather, it contains a listing of all the biggest and most popular sites where you can sell your pictures online.
It is kinda misleading to advertise it as such since they don’t even offer exclusive perks to these legit sites. It’s a mere channel linking you to the actual medium. After that, you are on your own again and you’ll end up paying for the membership there as well.
Spam bots are an issue
It seems that in order to advertise online, Photojobz uses spam bots and that’s no good. I’m VERY wary of websites that use any kind of shady tactics.
Content can generally be found online for free
Most of the content is available for everyone to see online.
If you go to YouTube or other authority photography websites, you will even learn more than what you’re getting from this site. Really, the amount of information you get here isn’t worthy of the monthly $27 membership fee.

Strictly for beginners
Well, since the content is mostly basic, and even non-photographers can easily relate to it, you can’t expect it to satisfy the needs of experts and professionals. Therefore, the platform only targets the inexperienced.
Fake Photojobz reviews?
When I was doing my research, I noticed that 2 different websites pretty much said the same thing:
“a large number of people have attested to the effectiveness of PhotoJobz, and you can find more reviews on its official website”
“PhotoJobz works and is legit; many people can testify to its effectiveness, and you can find more reviews from the official website.”
Sounds like one or the other used each other’s site to write a review. And where the hell are those official website reviews!? I don’t see them.
All I see is red flags, and I don’t like it.
The one-page website looks a bit sketchy, the $1 trials too (I’ve had a negative experience when I almost fell for a scam that offered $1 trials, so I’m biased but I still don’t think it’s worth the hassle of giving your email away for who knows what.)
Photojobz: Is It Legit or a Scam?
Technically, Photojobz is not a scam since you DO get something for your money.
While I’m very biased about the $1 fees for free trials, it does look like a legit website that offers ebooks and video tutorials. Some are useful, while others are a bunch of general knowledge stuff that even non-photographers are very well aware of.
But is it a stock photography site as advertised? NO.
It’s not even close to being one. So if your goal is to market your images online, you’re better off with other legit stock photography sites instead. There are just a lot of questions that I have with this platform.
